And it's only...well, technically it's Monday. But in terms of writing, it's Sunday. I hate having to ruin a grat weekend with meaningless homeowrk and the prospect of going to school the next day. They should make Mondays illegal. I mean, I'm gonna get zero sleep tonight. Fantastic, eh?
Plus, I'm WAY behind in my novel. Yeah, today was kind of a dud too. I had to do all of that homeowork that I "foolishly" didn't do yesterday. Bleh. Homework. Who needs it?
Well, I just skipped I don't even know how many chapters to another death scene. I had this one working in my noggin for a while, though, so I just had to get it out. He gets his innards ripped out, more or less. Pleasant, no? I titled it "Chapter X", since I have no idea where to put it, yet. I'm not quite sure how I'm even gonna fit it into my novel....hmm....
Hey, question for y'all (especially Heather, cuz she does this stuff, and Cary, cuz she can actually reply)- how many words do you think should be in an average chapter?
Anyways, I got 1, 475 words in, bringing my total to 5,050 words! Yay! I broke the 1/10 mark! A day too late, however.
Ah, well, maybe I'll actually do all my homework right when I get home tomorrow. .......Who am I kidding? I don't know, maybe I'll put off homework until after a writing session tomorrow. I really have to start these writing sessions earlier. There's always Thanksgiving vacation...
Oh, and you'll be surprised to know that I did about half my writing with, get this, NO MUSIC! :0
